Romeo Torres (they/he) is a performer based in Brooklyn, New York.
Most recently, Romeo performed in a developmental staged presentation of Lucier&Rose’s Atalanta: The Long Shot, at Arts on Site. They also recently closed Pericles with Hamlet Isn’t Dead at the Center at West Park, playing Lysimachus and Cleon, and a reading of Reuven Glezer’s Little Maestro as Vova at A.R.T New York.
Romeo recently graduated from NYU Tisch through the New Studio on Broadway, studying musical theatre, and physics through the College of Arts and Sciences. Since their graduation, Romeo has had the pleasure of working primarily (all but one!) on new and original works. They have honed their skills in devising, and continue to contribute to the development of new works.
They also have extensive technical experience as an Audience Wrangler with Here Lies Love on Broadway and as a Production Assistant/CCO with Saturday Night Live. Read more about their technical work here.
